Mike with Super Cool Turtle Dude
My childhood was spent on a farm in Alabama. There, I had a happy childhood with fond memories of playing in mud, stuffing my pockets with rocks and snails, and collecting bugs. My career in art began when I was able to hold a pencil. Soon I was drawing on any scrap paper that I could get my hands on. My parents got me an art set, complete with professional paints, and it really took off from there. My skill in sculpting began with Play-doh and I was hooked immediately, Later on, I got my hands on modeling clay, and soon was creating dinosaurs and monsters. To the dismay of my parents, there would be wads of oily clay stuck in the carpet and on furniture. Luckily, they didn't complain. Ballpoint pen became my constant companion, and my school notebooks would be crammed with sketches of spaceships, dragons, sword-wielding warriors, and unflattering carticatures of my teachers. Needless to say, I got in trouble a lot. I currently reside in Indiana, United States. When I am not at my drawing table or working with clay, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, exercising, and exploring. I also have a passion for computer games. I am currently working on stories of a fantasy world, which sometimes provide inspiration for my art. |
